Dr. Abayomi Ajayi is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nordica Fertility Centre Lagos, one of the Leading IVF Centres in Nigeria. He has published numerous publications in national and international scientific journals, and delivered numerous lectures in various conferences both locally and internationally.
He birthed the Endometriosis Support Group Nigeria (ESGN) a Non-
Governmental Organization in 2005 with the sole aim of assisting women, both young and old who are challenged with the Endometriosis condition.
The group has annually carried out campaigns to create awareness about the condition using the following: Endometriosis walk, Gala night, Senior Secondary Schools Essay Competition, Face of ESGN photo completion amongst other things.
Dr. Abayomi Ajayi is a member of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA),Society of Obsetrics and Gyneacologist ( SOGON), American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), America Association for Gyneacological Laparascopy (AAGL) ,International Society for Gyneacological Endoscopy ISGE.
Kgomotso Mpho Gago
Kgomotso Mpho Gagosi is the founder of Botswana Endometriosis Foundation and Co-Founder of African Endometriosis Awareness and Support Foundation. She is so passionate about raising awareness about this condition. She loves cooking, singing and dancing. She is actually a self taught gourmet chef
In 2008, Kgomotso was diagnosed with endometriosis after she suffered for 15 years. Those 15 years were hell as she was misdiagnosed every time she went to see a Doctor about her period pains. In 2007, she was miraculously blessed with a son. When she had her first laparoscopy in 2008, she was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis. She went through a handful of therapies, surgeries (6 so far), which are still ongoing to this day. This slowed down the progress she had worked so hard for and closed the door on a lot of dreams but God never gave up on her. Near the end of 2014, she started a support group for endometriosis suffers with the idea in mind of helping them with emotional support. In 2016, sthe Botswana Endometriosis Foundation was legally registered.
Kgomotso has done a lot of print media and radio interviews, educating people about endometriosis. She tours the world advocating for endometriosis sufferers. She in 2017 addressed the Botswana Parliamentary Health Portfolio Board on Endometriosis issues and concerns.
Kgomotso has a full time job as a Senior Administration Officer. She holds a Diploma in Graphic Designing, Diploma in Information Technology. She is currently doing long distance learning With Unisa doing Bachelor Degree in Business Management.
Fareeda
Fareeda Serwaa Brobbey is a pharmacist by profession with over 9 years experience in hospital and community pharmacy. She is the founder of Endometriosis Foundation Ghana, a non-profit organization in Ghana focused on Endometriosis Awareness creation, advocacy and reproductive health rights of women. She is also a co-founder of the African Endometriosis Awareness and Support Foundation.
Fareeda is the CEO of Ultimate Care Pharmacy Limited, a community pharmacy in Ghana which is interested in providing quality patient-centered health services to people in the community and beyond. She is a 2017 Mandela Washington Fellow specialized in the Public Management Track. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Ghana, Legon and is also a Member of the Ghana College of Pharmacists specialized in Clinical Pharmacy.
